Boston Celtics Single Game Season Tickets On Sale Today

On a day when most people are prepared to turn on their TV sets tonight, monitor their tablets, and head to local pubs to watch the opening of the NFL season - Boston Celtics' fans and other NBA enthusiasts focused on buying single-game basketball tickets.

Yesterday, the Celtics pre-sale ended and this morning, the general public began selecting tickets to home games at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. At TicketRaven.com, you can order your NBA single game regular season tickets to what will most likely be an exciting, but transition year for the Boston Celtics.

Their Eastern Conference competition - which will be challenging to say the least - are getting ready for what might be the best regular season in a decade. The defending champion Miami Heat look to three-peat (owner, Pat Riley would be happy to make use of his word this year).  Not far behind the talent of the Heat are the newly charged Brooklyn Nets, the stubborn New York Knicks, the healthy Chicago Bulls, and the young, tough, and tall Indiana Pacers.  The East is stacked and fans are getting ready for a thrilling season.

FUN Boston Celtics FACT:  In 1971, prior to a Celtics game, a charity free throw contest took place for sportswriters.  Red Auerbach took to the floor and pressed his "Irish Luck" at the age of 53 and ran off 23 consecutive shots at one point during the event.
