There is a growing buzz in the New York City area and elsewhere in anticipation of this February's first weekend.  In addition to America's most popular sporting event taking place that Sunday night, it is also Ground Hog Day.

In the shadow of Super Bowl XLVIII at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, a ground hog somewhere will let us all know how long winter will last, but the Farmer's Almanac, not the ground hog, is already predicting a "Storm Bowl" or "Blizzard Bowl" for Sunday, February 2, 2014.

Not to be overshadowed, the NBA will also compliment the festivities of Super Bowl week with a game that will surely draw its own big ratings and audience.

The New York Knicks will host the Miami Heat at Madison Square Garden (MSG) on Super Bowl Eve, Saturday, February 1, 2014.  This game is also becoming the hottest ticket in town.  Already expected to be jam packed with world renowned celebrities and athletes, the Garden stage will be set for LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, and others to entertain tens of millions in New York.
